What is the Assistance cover option? Repatriation How it works 1. The member should contact us and provide the following information: * Membership number (found on the front of the card) * Member's name * nature of illness * location * contact details - telephone & fax 2. Doctors from BUPA international's appointed representatives will discuss all relevant factors with your own doctor before authorising a repatriation. 3. Our appointed representatives will authorise and organise the repatriation and also pay the travel costs for a relative or your partner to accompany you to your specified country of nationality, or the nearest centre of medical excellence. Please note that Repatriation cover only covers in-patient treatment. Healthline is also included with Evacuation and Repatriation cover.
